by Vishal starrer action comedy movie Madha Gaja Raja was a major hit in theaters upon release on January 12, 2025. As the movie is running successfully, the makers have decided to release its Telugu version soon.
According to a recent post by Vamsi Shekar, the movie’s Telugu version is set to hit the big screens on January 31, 2025. The post featuring the film’s poster was penned, “After delivering blockbuster entertainment to the Tamil Audience. #MadhaGajaRaja is coming to give vere-level entertainment to the Telugu audience. Grand Release on January 31st.”

The movie Madha Gaja Raja tells the story of childhood friends who reunite for a wedding. However, their reunion is disrupted by an unexpected conflict, prompting them to face the challenge together.
Initially planned to release on Pongal 2013, the film faced multiple delays and finally hit the theaters after 12 years. The movie directed by Sundar C features Vishal in the lead role with an ensemble cast of actors like Santhanam, Anjali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sonu Sood, and many more in key roles.
As the movie has become a major hit, the songs from the movie composed by Vijay Antony have also become quite popular. The same led the musician to present Vishal at his concert where the actor sang the song My Dear Loveru from the movie onstage.
Moreover, the director Sundar C and Vishal were also recently spotted together enjoying the former’s birthday bash. The director’s birthday celebrations also had several celebrities from Tamil cinema attending.
Coming to the actor’s work front, Vishal recently announced at the Madha Gaja Raja Thanksgiving event of collaborating with director Gautham Vasudev Menon. Though the actor did not divulge more information about the same, it would be their first collab as actor and director.
Furthermore, the actor also has films like Thupparivaalan 2 and another project with Cobra director Ajay Gnanamuthu in the making.
